What data does ASD-UK collect from families?

  • Child’s name, DOB & gender
  • ASD diagnosis, age at diagnosis, and diagnosing clinician
  • Additional diagnoses; e.g. ADHD, learning disability, dyslexia, dyspraxia, epilepsy
  • Information about  child’s learning ability;  estimates of age equivalent of child’s ability
  • Level of support required
  • Left or right handed
  • Speech & language, age at first speech
  • Current school
  • Emotional and behavioural issues
  • Loss previously acquired skills (regression)
  • Siblings with ASD, family history of ASD or behavioural rigidity (Broader Autism Phenotype)
  • Social communication – as measured by the Social Communication Questionnaire
