What data does ASD-UK collect from families?
- Child’s name, DOB & gender
- ASD diagnosis, age at diagnosis, and diagnosing clinician
- Additional diagnoses; e.g. ADHD, learning disability, dyslexia, dyspraxia, epilepsy
- Information about child’s learning ability; estimates of age equivalent of child’s ability
- Level of support required
- Left or right handed
- Speech & language, age at first speech
- Current school
- Emotional and behavioural issues
- Loss previously acquired skills (regression)
- Siblings with ASD, family history of ASD or behavioural rigidity (Broader Autism Phenotype)
- Social communication – as measured by the Social Communication Questionnaire
