About ASD-UK

About ASD-UK

Research about ASD often requires

large numbers of participants. ASD-UK will collect data about children with

ASD which will enable large studies to be undertaken that address important

questions about ASD.

At present, most families of

children with ASD do not have the opportunity to take part in research

studies. By taking part in the ASD-UK project, parents will be able to

participate in research that might result in improvements in the care and

treatment of children now and in the future, and have access to research

findings.

The aims of ASD-UK

  • To collect data about children with ASD and their

families that will allow important questions about ASD to be addressed.

  • To help researchers recruit families to studies

about ASD that may lead to advances in the care and treatment of

    children.

  • To allow families to take part in research that aims

to answer important questions about ASD.
